"She's the peak of politeness."
Nancy Enman Scott
Retired, living in West Brookfield. Married to Robert Scott "Scottie" (class of '63) for 48 years. We have two daughters, one lives in DC with her husband and the other nearby with her husband and 2 children. I graduated from Assumption College and worked there as well, then I owned a window treatment business with my daughter. Now I enjoy doing some volunteer work, genealogy, and quilting. We have travelled quite a bit and am very grateful to be healthy and vertical every day. |
"An inexhaustible good nature is one of the most precious gifts of heaven."
Sandra (Erickson) Curci
My career has been a commercial insurance agent, and I am still working, but only part time. My health is excellent. My husband Ron and I like to vacation in Florida. My mother is still alive, at 88. And I have 3 brothers and a sister. My father passed in 1991. My favorite memory of Wachusett is Mr. Brackeen’s biology class. |
"Silence is as deep as eternity."
In 1970 I decided to start my own car repair business with lots of help from my wife Carmen. I enjoyed just fixing everyone’s cars. After each repair was finished Carmen would wash and vacuum the customer’s car. I now have hundreds of repeat customers. My daughter Lisa worked in the office for me for over 20 years since. Tho 'retired' now, nothing has changed. I still work 50+ hrs/week.
I live in Leominster. It’s an 8 min. ride to work in Sterling each day. I built my 5 bay garage on my folks’ property at 3 Williams st. My health is good except for a torn rotator cuff which makes it hard to function like I used to. I just find different ways to lift things. My favorite pastime is just riding my motorcycle everywhere I can. My first bike was purchased in the early 60's. a 1953 Harley-Davidson. I would pick up Carmen on it and take long rides. When our first daughter Lisa was about 6 or 7 years old I attached a third seat to the bike and all of us would ride on the same bike. Lisa now rides her own bike and her son has one too. We all still take rides together. |
I moved from Holden and ended up in Shrewsbury. A favorite memory -- there are so many. I loved my time there, and feel I got a terrific education that supported me though college, through getting a PhD and having a rewarding career.
I am a widower, but with a terrific partner. I have two daughters, three grandchildren and one on the way. I'm retired, but continue to do consulting and, up until the pandemic, was a steadily working musician.
I had a good career. I have a PhD in sociology and worked as a researcher in psychiatry at U Mass Med School. I won some awards, published around 150 papers, and held some national offices. I once got to play bass for Chuck Berry!! Happy to say I'm in pretty good health.
[ATTENTION ALL CLASSMATES: We are looking for a copy of a vinyl record album that was made by the UNIONVILLE RAGETIME JUG STOMPERS in 1965. The musicians were Bill Fisher, Pat Barry, Debbie Hinckley, Dave Hillhouse and Jeremy Travis. They were students at Wachusett Regional High School. (3 were in the Class of 1965) Does anyone have a copy collecting dust in an attic?
If you have one, please contact Jennifer Lish; you can message her on Facebook — call or text her 774-364-0559 — email her at [email protected].

"My heart is where the mountains rise."
Brian Fowler
Retired Engineering Geologist from the mining and heavy construction industries in the U.S., author of 26 peer-reviewed maps and professional papers, including several on the geologic history of Old Man of the Mountain. Currently supervising projects for the U.S. and N.H. Geological Surveys, along with independent research on the deglaciation of the White Mountains. Past-President-Life Trustee, Mount Washington Observatory. Living in Madison, NH with my wife of 45 years, Betsy. We have two married children and two grandchildren living in MA and NJ. We both remain in great shape hiking and skiing as often as possible. So far, so good… March, 2017:I received the letter announcing the Bash on August 20th. Thanks for including me on the mailing list. Unfortunately (and once again like the Reunion), I’ll not be able to attend. My actual 70th birthday is August 17th (a weekday), and my extended family has informed me they have “something planned” for August 20th up here in NH. So in view of their “long-range planning” that’s underway, I’d better make sure I’m on hand for whatever it is they’re planning. Nevertheless, please pass along my regrets and regards to everyone on that end. It’s great to see all the photos and profiles; a great way to get caught up. And thanks to you, Joyce, and the rest of the Planning Committee for all the hard work it takes to pull off events like this and to set up and maintain the websites. I really appreciate it. "Great thoughts come from the mind."
WOW!! 50 years in a brief paragraph!! So......as some of you know, after graduation I went to Salter's Secretarial School, starting out as a Medical secretary and quickly finding my self as a Dental Assistant, for over 25 years!! In 1969, Dennis Groleau and I were married and had two beautiful children, Scott in 1971 and Julie in 1976. Scott lives in Sacramento, CA, and has been there 24 years enjoying the lifestyle! Julie and her husband have presented us with two amazing grandchildren. Dahlia is now 5, and Dashiell is 2!! They live in QC, Canada, and I visit them at least twice a year!! In the early 80's we moved to NH and I lived there until 2010. Dennis and I parted ways in the early 90's. Later that decade, I married Bob Stone, having been introduced, to each other, by his sister!! In 2010, Bob retired and we moved to The Villages, Florida.
Bob enjoys golfing, several times a week. We both attend MA. Club, where Bob presides as treasurer. I love singing in a female Barbershop Chorus called Sisters in Harmony. I, also, get pleasure out of mentoring 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders in reading at the Elementary School. When the weather permits, I love my swim aerobics class! It is a fun lifestyle with unlimited things to keep you busy!! In general, I have been blessed with fairly good health!! My favorite memory from highschool is always having fun chatting with Ron Friberg, in homeroom!! Thank you to our hard working 50th Reunion committee for being dedicated to this upcoming milestone! |
